Andrew Diemer (he/him) is a senior brand designer based in Brooklyn, New York. He loves using typography in clever ways, independent publishing, and making things move.
Andrew graduated from Pratt Institude in New York City with a BFA in Communications Design with an emphasis on Graphic Design. Upon graduating, he joined Moving Image & Content under Irwin Matutina. Later, he worked at Droga5 under Rich Greco and furthermore at Johannes Leonardo under Charles Watlington. In 2016 Andrew was awarded a D&AD Yellow Pencil for his project Design Is Work. Andrew’s work has garnered attention from AIGA, Graphic Design USA, Type Directors Club, and Society of Illustrators.
Currently, he works as a Senior Designer at Droga5 and spends his free time playing music, watching football, and making zines. Andrew teaches at Index Space where he created a course titled Making and Breaking the Zine, to bring his passion and knowledge for indepenedent publishing to a wider audience. Andrew is open for colaborative opportunities and occasional freelance.
